Savor the JourneyThis memory-making trip offers you the potential of self-discovery, inner communion, and connection with kindred journeyers in a stunning setting.
As friends and compatriots, we dreamed up Soul Treks from our shared passion for quiet walks in nature while cultivating inner ease and kinship with fellow souls.
In this perfect intersection of appreciation for wide open spaces— inner and outer—we invite you to partake. Won't you join us? |
Slow Travel + Active Travel = Soul Treks
Soul Treks lies at the sweet crossroads of slow travel and active travel.
Slow Travel is not so much a particular mode of transportation as it is a mindset. Rather than attempting to squeeze as many sights or cities as possible into each trip, the slow traveler takes the time to explore each destination thoroughly and to experience and immerse one's self in the local culture.
As we move from place to place in a laid-back fashion, our guide Hans provides insight into the Crete’s customs and traditions, as well as helping to facilitate authentic cultural experiences. |
Active Travel is suitable for all ages and abilities and allows you to see the world at a slower pace while also providing exercise, fresh air and fitness. It's a popular vacation choice for those who like to visit out-of-the-way travel destinations while also staying fit and traveling at a more relaxed pace.
On our trip, we'll walk up to 2 to 6 miles a day on easy-to-moderate mountain trails, forest paths, sandy beaches and rocky shores. We'll travel lightly by day with our daypacks. We'll spend most of our days outdoors, perhaps only being indoors to sleep and shower. We'll eat outside—on the trail, and at outdoor cafes and tavernas. Our dinner meals will be under the stars. |
“When I encounter a sunrise, a painting, or an idea
that makes my heart bound like a young calf,
then I know I am standing in front of happiness.”
― Nikos Kazantzakis
